Take Two
Stupidly, instead of going to a meeting, I went out to dinner and drank some wine. How is it that one can have so much resolve when one wakes up in the AM to have it gone in the evening?
Today IS Day One. I will not do this anymore.

Welcome back. While you were gone I have been reading your blog...and I started my own. Come visit me...hope you have a good day...
Hey, RG! Remember, do NOT beat yourself up! You have the desire to stop and that's where we begin on this journey. I didn't make my meeting last night, either. I didn't drink, but probably only because I had no way of getting anything.
I'm with you on this journey. Let's do it together, as you suggested. We CAN do it!!!
Glad you're back. For one thing, fatigue can set in. A lot can happen in a day that changes our resolve. I find rituals and routines important for that reason. If I do something enough times that I feel good about (ordering club soda, exercising in the afternoon, paying bills on time, etc.), it starts to stick with me even when I'm tired or distracted. You had 90 days a short while ago, and you felt great. You can do it again, for sure.
Wishing you all the best, Donna.

Try an earlier meeting if possible.
Get some phone numbers and use them.
Stay away from places that serve alcohol.
Get a Big Book and read it.
Slowy and deliberately, become willing to do whatever it takes.
Most of all, don't give up.
Keep on comin~ ((((hugs))))
G~
You keep trying, and you will see the miracle of you. I am glad to see you blogging and being so honest with how baffling and insane this Dz is. Your experiences today are so important, it is you that will discover how important they are and will be.
Keep Coming Back!

Don't give up ~
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
Welcome back!
Hey Red,
Checking in and glad to see you back. I haven't been posting much, but I am trying to get back to it. Hope that you found some meetings and that they are going well for you. DO you need a Big Book? I have a few :)
